Consultation
An intake consultation is an initial short meeting between a client and a mental health professional. During this meeting, the client shares relevant personal information, reasons for seeking therapy, and their goals or concerns. This time also gives the client the space to ask any questions they may have about the therapist and/or the process.
Individual Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is talk therapy that involves working with a trained mental health professional to address various mental health and life concerns. It can help improve mood and emotional well-being, increase self-awareness and coping skills, and improve overall quality of life. Please check with your insurance plan to ensure they cover the license of the practitioner you have selected. Do note, all of our practitioners are licensed in Ontario. We do not provide direct billing at this time, however, we provide a receipt upon payment.
Single-Session Psychotherapy
A single session or drop-in psychotherapy session is a concise, solution-focused therapeutic encounter aimed at promptly addressing immediate concerns or providing short-term support. Unlike traditional ongoing therapy involving multiple sessions, this approach offers rapid intervention, particularly for acute distress or urgent emotional needs. Typically, therapist and client collaborate intensively to identify goals, explore emotions, and formulate coping strategies or resolutions during this focused session. Please check with your insurance plan to ensure they cover the license of the practitioner you have selected. Do note, all of our practitioners are licensed in Ontario. We do not provide direct billing at this time, however, we provide a receipt upon payment.
Couples Psychotherapy
Couples psychotherapy is a therapeutic approach designed to help couples navigate and improve their relationships by addressing conflicts, communication issues, and emotional dynamics in a supportive and guided setting. It aims to enhance understanding, foster effective communication, and promote healthier patterns of interaction between partners. Please check with your insurance plan to ensure they cover the license of the practitioner you have selected. Do note, all of our practitioners are licensed in Ontario. We do not provide direct billing at this time, however, we provide a receipt upon payment.
